As many of us prepare to spend time with our families and loved ones over the Christmas period, I would like to pass on my personal appreciation to those members and their families who will be separated during this time.

Please look after yourselves, your shipmates and return safely to your families.

For those who are travelling on the roads over the festive season, take care and don’t become a statistic!

Merry Christmas to everyone and I look forward to seeing many of you in 2011.
