The Navy's A109E Agusta helicopter is touring the South Island to support the Royal Hobart Regatta 2010. In Hobart, the A109E will conduct a Search and Rescue wet winching and static display at the Hobart Regatta Grounds on Saturday, Sunday and Monday 6-8 February from 1.30 to 2.45pm. Monday's demonstration will coincide with Navy Divers' capability demonstration at Regatta Point.

The Royal Hobart Regatta program will include other military and aviation displays over the weekend. The helicopters will be based at Anglesea Barracks during their visit, and may be viewed on Friday 5th February by arrangement with Defence Force Recruiting, Davey Street Hobart.

The crew from 723 Squadron's 'Medusa' Flight will also be visiting Devonport enroute to Hobart on 4th February for a community visit to showcase the Navy's Team oriented lifestyle.
