The Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) will officially welcome 330 midshipmen and officer cadets into the Academy at the annual Chief of the Defence Force (CDF) Parade.

ADFA invites family, friends and members of the local community to celebrate the achievements of the Academy's newest midshipmen and officer cadets at the annual Chief of Defence Force Parade.

As part of their intensive military training program, midshipmen and officer cadets have spent the past five weeks undertaking a range of activities including physical training, adventure training, drill and weapons handling. The young officers have also begun to develop the leadership skills required to be future leaders of the Navy, Army and Air Force. Over the next three to four years they will continue to develop these skills, whilst also pursuing studies towards earning an undergraduate degree through the University of New South Wales at ADFA.

The parade is a chance for family, friends and members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) to officially welcome these young men and women into ADFA, and into the wider ADF community.
