Funeral Firing Party Training

Drill training including weapons firings alongside Fleet Base East in preparation for the funeral of Rear Admiral Coates, AM, RAN.

HMAS Kuttabul/Fleet Base East

HMAS Kuttabul is currently preparing for the funeral of the late Rear Admiral Nigel Coates, AM, RAN, which will take place at the Garden Island Chapel Potts Point, at 10:30am on Wednesday, 09 June 2010.

As part of funeral preparations, training of the funeral firing party will require the firing of blank cartridges. The firing of the blank rounds will be kept to a minimum.
