RADM Geoffrey James Alexander Bayliss

Born: 14 September 1937.

Educated: Brisbane Boys College & Queensland University (MB, BS).

RAN History:

• Joined the RAN in 1958
• Served in HMAS Sydney (III) (including tour of Vietnam)
• Fleet Medical Officer in HMAS Melbourne (II) 1974-1976
• Medical Officer in Charge RAN Hospital HMAS Cerberus (1976-1979)
• Medical Officer in Charge Naval Support Command Hospital at HMAS Penguin (1980-1987)
• Head of RAN Medical Branch (as Rear-Admiral) 1987-1989, retired.
