HMAS Adelaide decommissioning ball and merchandise

To mark the sad end of a long and noble life, HMAS Adelaide (II) will hold a decommissioning ball at the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) in Fremantle, WA, on 8 December 2007.

Tickets are now available to all Royal Australian Navy and Royal Australian Naval Reserve personnel who wish to attend, cost $130pp. Numbers are strictly limited so be quick to order.

In addition, limited stocks of specially produced HMAS Adelaide merchandise are available for purchase to mark her passing. Items can be crafted to include indiviual names and the dates that personnel have served onboard Adelaide.

Book

In addition to the above memorabilia items, we are producing a book to celebrate the life of the RAN's number One Warship and longest serving FFG. It will be a hard-covered book about the Ship's life, from womb to tomb, covering numerous events including the highs and lows that Adelaide has been part of. It is anticipated that the book will be available in March 2008 and will cost approximately $30 to $40.

Decommissioning Ball

There will be a Decommissioning Ball held in Fremantle on the 8th December 2007. Seats are selling fast so if you are interested in attending or to obtain some of the above memorabilia then please use the order forms found below.
