The Naval Association of Australia Central Coast Sub Section is holding a commemorative service to remember the sinking of HMAS Voyager (II) on 10 February 1964 and the sailors who lost their lives on that night. The event is also intended to increase public awareness of Chief Petty Officer Jonathan Rogers after whom the park is named.
