The traditional Carols by the Bay, hosted by the Royal Australian Navy, are being held at HMAS Watson, Watsons Bay on Saturday, 5 December 2009.

Sydneysiders are being invited onto the base to celebrate the Christmas spirit with carols and music from the RAN Band and the spectacular panoramic views of Sydney Harbour.

Gates open from 3pm, with local school students performing from 5:30pm before the Navy Band takes to the stage from 6:30pm - 9pm with a selection of traditional carols and modern Christmas songs.

There will be food stalls, a sausage sizzle along with a jumping castle and face painting to entertain the kids.

Santa Claus will also visit.
