  • District Officer at Newcastle 1911-14
  • 1914-19 War (AN&MEF 1914-15, CO 1st RAN Bridging Train 1915-17)
  • District Naval Officer Adelaide 1918-21
  • District Naval officer Sydney 1921-23
  • Director Naval Reserves 1923
  • Military & Official Secretary to Governor-General 1931-47
  • retired from RAN 1945 as Rear-Admiral
