Navy Helps Family Come First

When CMDR Tony Rayner took the reigns as Commanding Officer of HMAS Success, it was only noted in passing that a milestone been passed and a true indication of how far we have come as an organisation realised.

CMDR Rayner’s Executive Officer in Success, LCDR Donna Muller, happens to be the wife of LCDR Stu Muller who was CMDR Rayner’s Executive Officer in HMAS Dubbo in 2002.

Whilst our Navy is relatively small and the chance for siblings, partners, even parents to serve concurrently, is quite common, the fact that the Mullers have managed to achieve their separate career aspirations whilst raising a family is a testament to the importance the Navy is placing on the family unit.
