Navy Week in Darwin

As part of Darwin’s Navy week, an RAN Armidale Class Patrol Boat and an Australian Customs Vessel were opened to the public. There were also exciting displays and demonstrations including a Boarding at Sea demonstration, marching displays, boat rides, and weapons and engineering displays. For the Grand Finale the Navy Band and HMAS Coonawarra Guard performed the traditional Beat to Quarters and Ceremonial Sunset. A combined Navy contingent also exercised the right of Freedom of Entry to the City of Darwin.
