The RAN Professional Studies Program was established to serve as a bridge between the corporate sector and the Australian Defence Force. The aim of the program is to provide a pool of expertise and contacts which serving personnel can draw upon in order to enhance the performance of the ADF in a range of professional areas.
One vehicle to enhance professional knowledge and standards is through the Goorangai Papers. The Goorangai Papers are occasional papers published by the Professional Studies Program. Goorangai seeks to enhance understanding of key issues of relevance to both the ADF and corporate sectors. The papers provide an avenue for ADF members (both full-time and part-time) to explore professional issues - both military and corporate.
