Summary
These Unclassified DEF(AUST)5000 documents are prepared by the Navy Engineering Division (NED) and are an element of the DEF(AUST)5000 - ADF Maritime Materiel Requirements Set (MRS). The general requirements specified herein are to be used in the generation of capability-specific function and performance specification associated with procurement, modification, maintenance and repair of maritime materiel. The documents will be updated at regular intervals to reflect lessons learned and changes in National Standards, or to incorporate other nations' standards required for collaborative activities.
