Abstract

This volume of Australian Maritime Issues: SPC-A Annual is a compilation of Semaphore newsletters, and shorter papers on a variety of naval and maritime issues. Subject matter varies widely from force structuring requirements and their implications, current maritime operations; they marked the anniversaries of significant battles in the two World Wars, peacetime rescue and relief operations, sea power in the 21st century and in the future, as well as a summary on the 2004 parliamentary inquiry report on Australia’s maritime strategy.
