Seven a Side Soccer in Salalah, Oman

Soccer in Salalah - It was no surprise when six teams were entered to play in the Soccer competition in Salalah. The healthy contest made the Wardroom's team and the Electronics Technician's (ETs) team finishing on equal points. During the penalty shoot out for the trophy, the Wardroom won 2-0 with LEUT Dave O'Toole kicking the winning goal.

Apart from the players, there were lots of spectators from the ship and also local Omani people, who appeared to take a very long break from their place of work in the vicinity of the soccer oval, to cheer on their favourite side.

ABCIS Cat Creighton and ABET Sam Whitfield won the prize for best dressed.
