We all stood on the wharf in June with tears of sorrow. We will all be back in December with tears of joy glad to see that the ship and her crew are all safe and well. Melanie – we will have plenty of „fresh real milk‟ for those coco pops!

I am so excited that you are on your way home, not long to go now. Wish that I could be there to see your ship come in and give you HUGE hugs and kisses on the wharf but the Doctor says I can't fly until I have the operation on my ears so you will have to hurry up and come to Tassie as soon as you can!!!! Well done Dad, am proud of you and can't wait to see you again.

Words cannot ever begin to express our wishes and regards to you all aboard. James, you will know, as all of your friends will! "You were all a part of my safe passage as we ventured from the "Red Sea through to the Gulf of Aden", when you did your job - "In a First Class Fashion", that could never be considered anything less than that. I was there even though we did not meet or could have in Oman or Dubai! Come on home safe and may all your wishes for Christmas be good & kind to you young Servicemen and women and Australians. "Lest we Forget" as we Celebrate and remember another 11th November.

The public hears about our troops “on the front line” and the wonderful job they are doing. Yes they are fantastic and their families and friends miss them a lot but the public does not hear much about the “behind the scenes” troops that are doing a lot of hard work and devoting themselves to their country and whose family and friends miss them a hell-of-a-lot. Good work boys and girls we all miss you, are very proud of you all and will be really happy to see you at Christmas. Luv Ma.

Families Message
I speak for myself and all families I'm sure when I say how very proud I am of the job they have all done during their deployment. The time has gone quite quickly for us at home however I'm sure the same can't be said for the boys and girls away from home missing their loved ones and home comforts. I wish you all the very best and a safe and swift return home.
