Publication:The Trade December 2003/Farewell RADM Peter Clarke

The photo of CAPT Steve Davies, RADM Clarke and CAPT Tauf Idrus was taken on 11 September at a submariners' farwell - formal and classy, of course - for Peter at an Irish pub in Canberra. Thanks to Steve for organising the happy and relaxed get-together, and to all those who attended for giving Peter a special send-ff. Peter was presented with a specially commissioned "Defence Short Service Medal", which he wore the next day for this final call on the Chief of Navy!

From Peter's wife Asha - Through Peter I have met some wonderful people in the submarine community, especially during our posting to the West. Thanks you for the fun, friendship and inspiration. It has been a great privilege to be part of your family.
