Australia's Navy Today The Australia's Navy Today brochure is an annual snapshot of the Navy's ships and establishments. It catalogues the key RAN vessels, aircraft, technology and shore establishments.
Australian Maritime Doctrine Australian Maritime Doctrine is the Royal Australian Navy's capstone work of doctrine. It is a guide to understanding the unique nature of the RAN's contribution to Australia's national security and how the Navy goes about its business. Australian Maritime Doctrine has been written to appeal to the widest possible audience, not only those within the RAN and the Australian Defence Force, but to all who have responsibilities for or are interested in Australia's national security and its instruments. Australian Maritime Doctrine brings together in an Australian context the key concepts and themes of sea power and explains them in a clear and straightforward fashion. This book lays out the ways in which the Navy operates as part of a joint and integrated ADF to accomplish the maritime security goals set by the Australian Government.

Future Maritime Operating Concept - 2025 The Future Maritime Operating Concept 2025 (FMOC) is the ADF's long term, maritime, joint warfighting capability aspiration. The FMOC seeks to inform and guide Navy, Army and Air Force staffs and Capability Development Group in developing capability requirements for the future ADF in the maritime environment. While Navy leads the development of the FMOC, it is a joint, collaborative effort.
Goorangai The Goorangai Papers are occasional papers published by the Professional Studies Program. Goorangai seeks to enhance understanding of key issues of relevance to both the ADF and corporate sectors. The papers provide an avenue for ADF members (both full-time and part-time) to explore professional issues - both military and corporate.
Hindsight The Hindsight series highlights the Australia’s naval tradition, covering the Commonwealth Naval Forces and the Royal Australian Navy, and are generally 2000 words in length.

Navy Annual The Navy Annual summarises the Royal Australian Navy's important events that happened during the year. This includes our involvement in the community and sporting hilights as well as operations, exercises and deployments.
Navy Contribution to Australian Maritime Operations NCAMO provides greater detail on the composition and roles of the RAN's major organisational elements and the capabilities each provides as a component of the developing joint, seamless Australian Defence Force (ADF). By describing how the philosophies outlined in AMD are applied in practice, NCAMO serves as a valuable handbook on the RAN of today and the immediate future. NCAMO will be revised periodically to ensure it keeps pace with changes in the RAN's current structure and capabilities.
Navy Engineering Bulletin The Navy Engineering Bulletin explores technical and personnel issues affecting engineers and technicians in the Royal Australian Navy.
Navy List The Navy List traditionally contains details of the officers of the Australian Navy. These past editions have been digitised and placed in the public domain as part of the Sea Power Centre - Australia's digitisation project. The aim of this project is to make historic records and information more readily available to members of the public. Additional editions of Navy Lists will be added throughout the life of the project as the 30 year disclosure period expires.
Navy News Navy News is published fortnightly with its basic charter to inform and entertain our sailors wherever they are serving, in ships or on shore, at home or overseas. It also contains advice valuable to serving members and those considering reserve employment.
