Recruit School Newsletters
Recruits join the Royal Australian Navy in monthly Intakes. These Intakes are then placed in one of four Divisions, Getting Division, Moran Division, Rankin Division or Waller Division. A Division is a collection of personnel placed together for the purpose of administration and training, commanded by a Divisional Officer in Charge. Within the Division Recruits are then placed into classes of no more than 25 Recruits, under the instruction of a Recruit Instructor.
Recruits participate in a large number of activities throughout their training at Recruit School. The Newsletters below contain a summary of the previous week's activities (updated weekly) for each Division/Intake.
