Recruit School Training Expenses

The first payday for new entry recruits is either 10 or 17 days after joining HMAS Cerberus. You will need to bring some money with you for incidental expenses that will occur before you receive your first pay. At least $150 - $200 will be sufficient to cover such items as:

• Dry cleaning of uniforms
• Purchase of toiletries
• Telephone calls
• Washing powder, starch, boot polish etc

Recruit School has a fully stocked canteen for the purchase of the above items as well as snacks, magazines and coin operated Internet access. The canteen provides an EFTPOS facility, however there is no cash withdrawal facility.
