Often referred to as the 'Cradle of the Navy', HMAS Cerberus, or Flinders Naval Depot as it was known for many years, has long been the premier recruit training establishment for the RAN. This video records recruit training carried out at Cerberus during the 1960s featuring training at the West Head Gunnery Range and onboard the training ship HMAS Castlemaine.
