HMAS Sydney (II) Memorial Service & Surf Boat Ceremonial, to remember Surf Life Savers lost in war and the men of HMAS Sydney (II) and their contribution to the Surf Club and the nation.

While stationed at Fremantle many of Sydney’s Ships Company joined in activities of the Surf Club and these men built a scale model replica surf reel as a trophy and presented it to the club in August 1941 and it has been competed for within the Club ever since its presentation.
