- ADFS Choules will be open to the public at the Port of Fremantle, Western Australia.
- 18 September
- HMAS Newcastle will be open to the public as part of Navy Week South Australia 2011 activities at Techport, Veitch Road, Osborne, South Australia.
- 27 August
- HMAS Newcastle will be open to the public as part of the Celebrate Maritime Day Expo 2011 at B Shed, Victoria Quay, Fremantle. Further details available on the Fremantle Ports website.
- 7 August
- HMAS Newcastle and HMAS Perth will be open to the public from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Station Pier. Further information about Station Pier can be found on the Port of Melbourne website at http://www.portofmelbourne.com/cruiseshipping/stationpier.asp.
- 31 July
- HMAS Darwin will be open to the public from 10:00am to 4:00pm at Fort Hill Wharf, Darwin as part of Northern Territory Navy Week
- 12 June
- The Huon Class mine hunter HMAS Yarra will be alongside the Australian National Maritime Museum's wharf and open to the public as part of the Navy Family and Community Day celebrations.

- HMAS Newcastle will be open to visitors 10am to 3pm at Throsby Wharf, Newcastle
- 12 February
- HMAS Parramatta will be open to visitors 10am to 3pm at Macquarie Wharf, Hobart - along side the 2011 Australian Wooden Boats Festival.

- HMA Ships Ballarat and Diamantina will be open to visitors 10am to 3pm at Devonport. Free Bus shuttle service will operate from the Visitors Centre half-hourly.
2010
- 17 October
- HMA Ships Newcastle, Darwin and Ballarat will all be open during the Fleet Base East Open Day.
- 11 July
- STS Young Endeavour will be open for inspection at the Mackay Marina Village, Mackay, QLD from 1:00pm to 4:00pm
- 27 June
- HMAS Bundaberg will be open for inspection at the Southport Yacht Club, Southport, QLD from 10:00am to 2:00pm
- 20 June
- HMAS Bundaberg will be open for inspection at Bundaberg, QLD from 10:00am to 2:00pm
- 26 April
- HMAS Arunta, one of the Royal Australian Navy's Anzac Class Frigates, will be open for inspection by the general public at Techport SA, Osborne, South Australia.
- 27 March
- Following the Freedom of Entry march, HMAS Manoora will be open to the public for inspection from 1:30pm to 5:00pm. A free regular shuttle bus will run from Marine Terrace to the ship and return to Marine Terrace commencing at 1:30PM. Due to current Australian Ports regulations this will be the only means for members of the public to access the ship for the open day.
