Having now been issued all items of uniform and kit, the recruits are taught how to properly present their kit for inspection by means of a kit muster. A kit muster may be issued as corrective training or randomly to ensure all uniform items are present, well ironed and in good order. This teaches the Recruits to take pride in the uniform they wear and the fundamental skills required to maintain their uniforms ie. ironing and folding.
