Royal Australian Navy Officers and Sailors from HMAS Parramatta will exercise their right to Freedom of Entry with a formal parade commencing at Prince Alfred Park along Church Street to Parramatta Town Hall on Saturday 14 September from 11:45am-12:30pm.

A Freedom of Entry is the most honourable distinction a city may bestow on a contingent of the Australian Defence Force and is celebrated with a ceremonial parade through the city streets.

RAN Band Sydney will be performing at this event.

An HMAS Parramatta Cultural Display will follow the Freedom of Entry Parade from 12:30-1:00pm, at the Parramatta Heritage and Visitor Information Centre in Church Street.
