Three IONS Working Groups (IWGs) have been established. The IWGs are Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief, Counter Piracy, and Information Sharing and Interoperability.
Contributions should range from 2000 - 5000 words in length. In addition, we welcome any news articles from your maritime agencies, including Indian Ocean exercises and photographs.

IONS Essay Competition 2014 is open to all uniformed and civilian members of IONS member and observer navies, regardless of rank/seniority. The conducting Authority is the Chief of the Royal Australian Navy; the competition will be managed on his behalf by the Director, Sea Power Centre - Australia.
