Creswell Library

You will come to find the Creswell library to be one of the best resources available to you whilst undergoing training here at the RANC. As part of the Defence Library Service (DLS), they have access to huge variety of books which if not in stock can be ordered from another library.

The Royal Australian Navy School of Survivability and Ship Safety

The RAN School of Survivability and Ship Safety (RANSSSS) is where you will learn how to combat hazards to both your ship and your crewmates. You will learn how to safely fight fires in a naval environment, how to stop flooding in a compartment and how to respond to toxic gas threats.

The is located within five minutes drive of HMAS Creswell.

Sea Training Facilities (The Waterfront)

The Waterfront is home to a number of vessels used in various parts of the training at the RANC. The civilian contractor responsible for delivery of support craft to the Navy has considerable assets that you will use, ranging from the 52 metre long ship Seahorse Horizon down to sailing dinghys. Also located at the waterfront is a small Navy team who will assist in providing you with the skills and attitudes required to assimilate into Naval service at sea.

Training North

Training North is home to the Office of the Commanding Officer of HMAS Creswell. You will also find the Training Commander (TC), the Head of Officer's Initial Training Faculty (H-OITF) and the Divisional Officers (DOs). Classroom and the computer resource room are also housed in Training North.

Training South

Training South is the home of the Management and Strategic Studies Faculty (MSSF). You will find the Head of Management and Strategic Studies Faculty (H-MSSF) in this building along with other MSSF staff. This is also the location of the theatrette, as well as a number of additional classrooms.
