A United States Navy Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) from amphibious transport dock USS San Diego enters the well dock of HMAS Canberra off the coast of Hawaii during Exercise Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2016.
HMAS Canberra has successfully received a United States Navy Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC) within its internal well dock, marking a world-first for the class of ship.

HMAS Canberra has successfully embarked four United States Marine Corps (USMC) Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAV) off the coast of Hawaii marking another milestone in the ship's interoperability with United States counterparts.

Over the past six weeks HMAS Adelaide has embarked over 1,400 military personnel as part of a series of amphibious exercises and strategic sealift tasks.

HMAS Adelaide arrives in Sydney Harbour with members of the Air Warfare Destroyer Alliance that joined the crew for the transit from Adelaide to Sydney.
Thirty four members of the Air Warfare Destroyer (AWD) project were given the opportunity to go to sea on HMAS Adelaide last month. The group, made up of 26 personnel from Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group and three industry participants, sailed from Adelaide to Sydney in conjunction with Adelaide's family cruise.
