Beecroft Weapons Range Activity

Beecroft Weapons Range (BWR) will be closed from 9:00pm on Sunday, 19 February and will reopen at 1:00pm on Friday, 24 February 2017.

Defence activities will be conducted during the following times:

  • Extended maintenance will be conducted during the week.

No live firing activities will be conducted by Naval vessels. Please be aware that there will be loud noise throughout this period and if you have animals susceptible to noise that all reasonable measures are taken to safeguard their welfare. Range closure is denoted by red flags and signage displayed around the perimeter of Beecroft Weapons Range. Incendiaries will NOT be used throughout the activities.

If you see anything which may cause alarm, please do not hesitate to contact Beecroft Weapons Range Range Control on (02) 4448 3839, or the appropriate emergency response agency if you believe there is an emergency. All Beecroft Weapons Range activities may be subject to change at short notice. Your patience and cooperation is requested so that the safety of all members of the public is maintained.
