Navy is excited to co-host the Indo-Pacific Sea Power Conference 2025, a world-class event showcasing the Royal Australian Navy, Defence Industry partners, academia, global allies and other elements of Australia’s national power that contribute to maritime security across our region.

This internationally respected event will feature presentations by an extremely high calibre of industry leaders, academics and defence officials from Australia and around the world, and will attract visitors from across the globe.

The theme of this year’s conference, ‘Strength at Sea = Security and Prosperity at Home’, underscores the Royal Australian Navy’s mission, borne from Australia’s dependence on the sea. From defending Australia’s shores to securing our access to the sea and the security of vital infrastructure in the maritime domain, our Navy is critical to our nation’s security and economic success. As we finalise plans to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Royal Australian Navy next year, we honour the generations of sailors who have protected our way of life and strengthened global relationships.

This year’s conference program has been designed to provoke a deeper level of thought and dialogue around the role of our Navy through its storied past to the present day, and into the future.

It will see the return of several popular events and exhibitions, including the Navy Life Expo, and an exciting program of academic panels, presentations and symposia.

Registrations are open to trade, defence industry and defence personnel.
