HMAS Brisbane III Ship’s Company will commemorate 125 years of naval service in 2026 with a Freedom of Entry parade through Brisbane CBD.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Come along and enjoy this spectacle which highlights the bond between the Royal Australian Navy and the Brisbane community.
The parade will commence on Creek Street, proceed along Adelaide Street, and conclude at King George Square.
The Freedom of Entry is one of the oldest and most honoured customs in military history. It symbolises the trust and respect between a military unit and the community it serves. During the parade, Navy personnel from HMAS Brisbane will march in ceremonial uniform, accompanied by a Navy band and colours.
