The parade will commence at the Cowes Jetty, proceed up The Esplanade and conclude at Erewhon Point adjacent to the playground.

The Freedom of Entry is one of the oldest and most honoured customs in military history. It symbolises the trust and respect between a military unit and the community it serves. During the parade, Navy personnel from HMAS Cape Woolamai will march in ceremonial uniform with swords drawn, bayonets fixed, drums beating, colours flying and music provided by the Royal Australian Navy Band.
