After careful consideration of the concerns around the COVID-19 virus, the Director General Engineering Navy has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Navy Engineering Conference for both Sydney and Rockingham scheduled for 30 April-1 May and 18 June.

At the end of the day Navy Engineering's primary consideration is to the health and safety of everyone within our community. With the growing concerns about the dangers of COVID-19 and the bans around large gatherings as well as staff travel bans we can't guarantee the high-quality event we strive to provide you each year.

We are disappointed we have had to make this decision because of this unprecedented global situation but the Director General Engineering Navy feels this is the best decision for our community based on the information we have today.

We will explore options to reschedule this event later in the year if circumstances allow, however details of this will follow if the situation eases going forward.
