In 1920, the Flinders Naval Depot began operations. Ten years later, Navy's personnel training school commissioned as HMAS Cerberus.
In 2020, HMAS Cerberus continues to operate as Navy's premier training establishment, training not only Navy personnel but Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force personnel as well.
On 31 October (please note date change), HMAS Cerberus will open its gates to the public to celebrate its centenary. Activities and displays planned for the open day include:
