Soundwaves April 2023

5 April 2023

14:00 and 19:00

HMAS Cerberus Band and Cinema complex, access via South Beach Road, Crib Point, Victoria

Admission is free, however booking is required via Eventbrite

Back by popular demand, we would love for you to join RAN Band Melbourne in April as we showcase a variety of brilliant small groups in what we call our Chamberwaves concert series.

For this concert we are putting the spotlight on some of our smaller ensembles and brilliant musicians we have within the RAN Band Melbourne. Some of the ensembles are long established and some have been put together specifically for this concert!

You will charmed by the mellifluous sound of our clarinet choir, captivated by the regal sound of our brass quintet, enchanted by the brilliance of our woodwind quintet (joined by Able Seaman Jessie Bartlett on solo alto saxophone for one piece), intrigued by a solo clarinet piece performed Able Seaman Harrison McEwen, excited by the rhythmic fire of our fusion group and utterly bamboozled by a group that goes by the name of Chromosome!

Admission is free, so come along and bring a friend!!

We hope to see you there.

  • Matinee performance: 2:00pm (Gates open at 12.30 pm)

  • Evening performance: 7:00pm (Gates open at 5.30 pm)

IMPORTANT We now have an e-ticketing system for ticket allocation. Seats are limited so to ensure you don't miss out, please reserve your seats in advance. Once your ticket order is received you will be sent a confirmation email that includes base entry procedures, parking details, and any relevant COVID-19 safety requirements and information.

Please ensure you have valid photo ID for entry to HMAS Cerberus.

If ordering more than one ticket, the name of each attendee must be assigned their own ticket and this must match each attendee's photo ID. Attendee names can be typed in during the ticket ordering process. This is a requirement for COVID-19 contact tracing should the need arise. Failure to meet this requirement unfortunately may result in patrons being unable to access the event.
