      Exercise Malabar

      Exercise Malabar is an annual, multilateral, maritime field training exercise led by the Indian Navy and involving elements of the Australian Defence Force, Japan Maritime Self Defence Force and the United States Navy. 

      The Royal Australian Navy hosted Exercise Malabar for the first time in 2023 after Australia’s participation began in 2017.
