BERSAMA LIMA 2016

Approximately 400 Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel, from Navy, Army and Air Force, will participate in Exercise BERSAMA LIMA 2016, a Five Power Defence Arrangements combined joint exercise being held in Malaysia, Singapore and the South China Sea over the period 4-21 October 2016.

Exercise BERSAMA LIMA 2016 incorporates integration training, air, land and maritime field training exercises, live fire serials and staff officer training including a command post exercise. The exercise aims to enhance interoperability between the armed forces of Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, and the United Kingdom by extending the knowledge of each other’s tactics and operational staff procedures.
