Australian National Veterans Arts Museum
Supports the whole-of-life wellness of current and former members of Australia’s military and families through facilitated arts engagement for wellness through mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Mind Australia
Provides practical and motivational support to help people develop the skills they need to move on, thrive, and improve the quality of their lives. This includes helping people with the things that make them feel strong and healthy, such as being in control of their life, being resilient and participating in their community. They also work with people to address poverty, housing, education and employment.
Trojans Trek
Recognised as the most effective peer support wilderness-based intervention which reconstructs the psychological health and wellbeing of service and ex service personnel.
Veteran Mindfulness Australia
Offers a broad range of mindfulness classes while promoting mental and overall wellbeing. Offers yoga, meditation, dance and photography and art classes to eligible Australian veterans.
Young Veterans
Aims to connect those who are isolated with others and engage with society. Not necessarily about reminiscing about service times, it is about moving forward, re-engaging and inspiring young veterans to achieve and succeed beyond their time in service. Events include: 4WD, camping, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, surfing, yoga, power lifting, ten pin bowling, swimming with whales, walking, coffee catch ups, rock climbing, off-road racing teams, etc.
