2023 will see the 80th Anniversary of the commissioning of HMAS Harman. Over that time, Harman has enjoyed a long history of participation and engagement with the local community of the City of Queanbeyan. As a result, HMAS Harman was granted the Freedom of Entry to the City of Queanbeyan by the Mayor of Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council Councillor Kenrick Winchester.
Harman exercised the right to Freedom of Entry followed by a march in Queanbeyan to reaffirm its long standing association with this major regional centre on 1 July 2023.
RAN Band Sydney Parade Band will be performing at this event.
